Our Tribes
Tribe of Samuel - Ages 0 - 10 (Children's Ministry) at the very young age of 2 to 3, Samuel served the Lord in the temple, while Eli was the high priest. God honored his devotion so much that He spoke to Samuel around the age of 6. It is our desire that our children would develop a strong, close relationship with the Lord like Samuel. (1 Samuel 1, 3)
Tribe of David - Ages 11 - 18 (Youth Ministry) as a young man, probably in his teens, David killed a lion and a bear through the power of God to protect the sheep under his care. David's confidence in the Lord was so great that He killed Goliath with a slingshot and a stone through the power of God before the presence of the Israelite and Philistine armies. It is our desire to empower our youth to be soldiers for the Lord and have great faith like David. (1 Samuel 17)
Tribe of Judah - Ages 19 - 40 (Youth Adult Ministry) Often associated with praise, the tribe of Judah is about giving praise to our great and mighty God. As the Lion of Judah, Jesus Christ is our example for living a victorious life as children of the Lord. It is our desire that our young adults are empowered to represent Jesus in their lifestyles 24-7. (Genesis 29:35, Romans 2:29, Hebrews 13:15)
Tribe of Elijah - Ages 41 and up - Elijah, a mighty prophet of the Lord, was a great man of faith, who even defied the prophets of Bail. Elijah prayed that no rain would fall on the land for a number of years, and then, he called for the Lord to bring fire from the sky! Before he left the earth on chariots of fire, he left his mantle to the prophet Elisha, whom Elijah gave a double portion of his anointing. Children, youth, and young adults need the support of the more seasoned saints, who can share lessons and experiences of their past and present as well as encouragement, thus passing down their mantles to younger generations (1 Kings 17, 2 Kings 2).
